Did you know that today, March 5th, 2012 begin The National Sleep Awareness Week in the United States? Although the National Sleep Foundation recommends that adults get between 7-9 hours of sleep each night, more than a third of adults in the US reportedly get less than 7 hours of sleep per night. Obtaining insufficient sleep for14 or more days in the past 30 days, has been associated with self-reported anxiety, depressive symptoms, and frequent mental and physical distress.
