And finally, riding the waves on the back of the Merlion. As you may know, the Merlion is a traditional creature in western heraldry that depicts a creature with a lion head and a body of a fish. In Singapore, it has become a marketing icon used as a mascot. There is a great statue of the Merlion at the harbor, which you’ve no doubt seen if you’ve visited Singapore.
