Your Brain's GPS

Did you know your brain contains a navigation system much like satellite navigation? The brain’s GPS appears to be located in the hippocampi (two of them) and contains built-in maps, compasses, and grids. Currently, London taxi drivers, who have to know their way around hundreds of thousands of winding streets, are believed to have the most refined and powerful brain GPS yet identified, strengthened from years of experience.
