Have you ever wondered about the brain of individuals who murder? Dr. Daniel G. Amen has commented about murder and brain function in his newsletter (you can subscribe to it free -- email@example.com ) based on studies of murderers performed at the Amen Clinic. (Not the murders, you understand, just the studies!) In general, he described two types of murderers: compulsive murderers who seem to show too much overall activity in the brain versus impulsive murderers who tend to show very low activity in the pre-frontal portions of the brain. Just another example of how the brain functions best in balance.
