Did
you catch the section on “happiness” in a recent TIME (July 8-15, 2013)? It
started out with a catchy sentence: “If you’re an American and you’re not
having fun, it just might be your own fault.” Here are few findings mentioned
in the article:
- “Marriage does contribute to bliss; it’s a better predictor of happiness than having money or children.
- “About 80% of young people who say they have a good relationship with their parents are also happier with life in general.
- “Homosexual men (2013 study) experience less
depression than heterosexual men, as long as they had come out.”
Happiness is a brain state . . .
