Individuals with high levels of EQ skills end to exhibit the
following behavior quite consistently.
They are able to articulate the
difference between recognizing and identifying a specific emotion and obtaining
the information the emotion is attempting to convey, and taking action based on
that emotion. They recognize that sometimes the preferred course is to take no
immediate action at all. Rather to absorb the information, store it in the
brain, and be ready to apply what they learned should a similar situation arise
in the future.
